ExtraO1Dinary Aliens! : Exit I-485  (2024)

Corneliu is an immigrant from Romania who is in love with Kay, a U.S. Citizen. Linh is Kay's best friend who might have let her student visa lapse?! David has dreams of opening up his restaurant with his cousin Enoc. ExtraO1dinary Aliens! (Exit Route I-485) is a love story centered on immigrants and the ones who love them. How can love defy the dehumanizing machinations of the US Immigration system? What makes someone leave everything they've ever known to journey to a foreign land? What makes someone stay despite the hostile environment? What is the promise of the American dream and can it ever be a reality? ExtraO1dinary Aliens! (Exit I-485) is a part of JACKLabs, a series designed to incubate theatrical work with an opportunity for playwrights to advance their play past the "workshop" phase, but without the pressure of a multi-week run. The Sketchy Eastern European Show: A Tragedy in Six Sketches (2022-2024)

Kal (a thirty-something-year-old, out-of-work, Romanian comedian) fears his window has closed… and with it, all of his childhood dreams of stardom. Then, he stumbles upon John, a charismatic, half-Romanian DJ from London who code-switches, subverts stereotypes, and challenges what the establishment thinks they want. 99Labs (fka HumbleJim) is a group-led ensemble based collective of actors, directors, writers, and theatre-makers gathering on a weekly basis to devise new work, pair together for scene study, and stretch the theatrical muscles for real-life application.

The beginning of the end is here- Beings from unknown origin have arrived and begun to abduct millions of people at seemingly random. Three people in a bar try to figure out the how and why.

FAR (Departe) (2020 - 2021)

An international miniseries shot in London, Bucharest, and NYC. After their hometown is locked under total quarantine, five childhood friends who now live all over the world reunite online to discover they might be closer than they think.

Zoom With Me  (2020 - 2021)

The pandemic has left single mom Jackie feeling isolated, lonely, and like her life is slipping from her. She finds solace in running, and on her daily runs she passes the same man again and again. An invitation from him sets her into a panic, but her daughter encourages her to take a risk. Lies are told, but somehow Jackie may just find the connection we are all longing for.
